Sara is an Architect and a Ph.D. in Architecture, Built environment and Construction engineering at Polytechnic University of Milan (ABC Department). She carries out environmental consultancy activities related to sustainability of construction sector through the analysis of environmental impacts of buildings and materials. She has worked with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology since 2013 both within research projects and manufacturing companies; during these years Sara has been developed a good experience in the modelling phase, data gathering, choice of impact assessment methods and interpretation of results, supporting public and private decision makers. She applies life-cycle analysis also in Carbon Footprint studies for Organizations and environmental certification labels (e.g. Environmental Product Declarations – EPDs and ReMade in Italy scheme).
Since 2020 Sara has been LEED AP BD+C sharing her proficiency in sustainable design, construction and operation processes of building sector.
She is passionate about sustainability and she has started disclosure actions since graduation, carrying out teaching activities (both in University and High Schools), visiting lecturer activities in Master’s programs and degree courses, and writing of scientific articles and conference proceedings.
